INVOLVEMENT OF YOUNG RESEARCHERS



PhD candidate Simona Nicolae


Her activity focused on the theme of her PhD thesis that, being initiated before attaining this project, displays no connection to mythical toponimy. She does not belong to the doctoral school, being graduate of the French-Romanian doctoral school and DEA (France), EHESS-CNRS Paris; she is not registered as regular PhD student.


She is fully involved in all the stages of the project:

- created the table for the data basis;

- elaborated 4 units (“letters”) for the glossary’s entries;

- accomplished an excellent documentation for the theme of the project concomitant of her research phases abroad, necessary to her PhD thesis; she offered consistent material as documentation for the team members;

- offered ingenious solutions for accomplishing the electronic format of the documents;

- is implied in preparing and editing the volume in the printed format;

- applies a significant part of the date resulted from this research in the courses of lectures on Greek and Latin Philosophy (Plato’s myths) and Greek Literature and Culture (Roman and Byzantine epoch) and in the seminaries of Greek language;

 - is basically in charge of the administrative aspect of the project.
